Presentations and technical sessions will be held at the Downing Student Union on the main campus of Western Kentucky University (WKU) in Bowling Green, Kentucky, with field excursions to areas within the Mammoth Cave Area Biosphere Reserve (MCABR).
BY AIR: The nearest airport is the Nashville International Airport approximately a 1-hour drive south of Bowling Green in Nashville, Tennessee. Transport to/from Nashville will be provided on May 18 and May 22; commercial shuttle services are also available via Bowling Green Shuttle.
BY CAR: From either north or south, take I-65 to Exit 26, proceed north on KY-234, then left onto Adams St (Hwy 68-80), left onto College Heights Blvd., left on Avenue of Champions. Parking structures are located across from the Downing Student Union (conference venue). The conference hotel, Hyatt Place, is also shown on the Google Map above.
Located on the campus of Western Kentucky University and within walking distance of all meeting locations, Hyatt Place is one of the official lodging providers for this meeting. A block of rooms have been reserved at a discounted rate for meeting participants and will be available for reservation in June 2019. Please indicate you are attending the Karst 2020 workshop when making reservations online or via phone ( +1 270 467 0001). There are a limited number of rooms available at the discounted rate so please book early.
We have also secured a block of rooms at nearby Holiday Inn University Plaza from which shuttle service will be available each morning and evening to/from the workshop venue. There is a discounted rate for meeting participants and will be available for reservation in June 2019. Please indicate you are attending the Karst 2020 workshop when making reservations online or via phone( +1 270 745 0088). This is the only off-campus hotel where a daily shuttle will be provided.
